Cody Chess/ Jenifer Johns and Myself had a cool show in San Francisco a few weeks ago. It was a night to remember.

My sister sang Backgrounds on this song called Amazing(up on myspace now called 'untitled demo')..she is just that. It seems like Desiree's Video for Miss America is gaining international attention on U tube.. Go Des.. let's do a few more. Really I think we are going to shoot a video for Rebel Soul Music (the song) which was featured in the movie Slow Burn starring LL Cool J, amongst others. And I really want to shoot a video clip for Rise..featuring my nephews and some neighborhood kids.

I always wonder why Jimi and Sly or Donny and Stevie or Al Green and Curtis didn't make songs together...Michael and Prince would and still could set a new precedent by making a song or recording a project together or something..Anyway, Cody and I have joined forces on a song currently called ''Old Soul''. It's magic! Living Magic with a spirit in it... Purposefull! Who knows when yall will hear this music but know its being worked on.

I have been paying on this one credit card for over a decade and it's still maxed out! People called me and suggested I make an offer to settle..I was like what does that mean.. they were like well you could pay 50% of the balance immediately and we will accept that and close the account. Deal or No Deal? I was like..................DEAL! Hey yall, being an Rtist is great but when you sacrifice everyone and everything like did, including destroying my good credit rating, the taxes are not easily overcome and may haunt you for years..just like not pursuing your dreams will....
And they LIE LIE LIE, just like we do so don't accept them high ass interest rates from creditors..speak to an accounts dept manager and plead your case, just like I do every six months..til death do us..funk that. I'll be debt free this year. Count IT!

It's much easier to sing great songs with wonderful messages or some crappy songs that don't really speak to anyone, just for a check. I would like a check..oh yes.. but my soul is riding on me getting at some very key issues and sounds and deliveries and I cannot sacrifice my life just to become more popular. Music lovers will either pass me over or get waaaaay into what I represent and the way I do it. DEAL OR NO DEAL, it's in God's hands already so...

We have begun working on my movie..Rebel Soul Music is the working title. Let's just say that Purple Rain/Basquiat/Rockers are all very heavy inspirations but it won't be like any of them.
